New Year’s Eve in Miami 2026: Hialeah Fiesta and Countdown Planning

Miami Beautiful illustrated guide.
New Year’s Eve is Thursday, December 31, 2026, welcoming 2027 at midnight. Choose your main countdown first, then decide where to eat and how to get home. Greater Miami covers a large area; a clear neighborhood plan is more useful than trying to move between several late-night celebrations.
A 2026 Hialeah celebration is listed
The official Greater Miami tourism listing for Hialeah NYE: Fiesta places the December 31 event at Amelia Earhart Park, 401 E. 65th Street, with an advertised 8 p.m.–2 a.m. celebration. It describes music, rides, family attractions and midnight fireworks. Performers and details may change; follow the organizer’s booking information before committing.
Our Amelia Earhart Park guide explains the setting. The special event has its own ticketing and operating arrangements; ordinary park admission information is not event admission. Ask what your ticket includes, whether activities have separate restrictions and how entry and re-entry work.
Considering downtown instead?
Research the area around Bayside Marketplace and Bayfront Park if a downtown evening suits your group. These are location ideas, not confirmation of a particular free public countdown, concert or fireworks show there on December 31, 2026. Check the current organizer or city announcement.
A restaurant reservation, cruise ticket and public waterfront visit are different experiences. Before paying, confirm the location, entry time, age policy and what happens if you arrive late. For a boat event, check the boarding deadline and departure point rather than treating the party’s start time as a flexible arrival window.
Build the return trip into the decision
Decide who is traveling together and where you will meet at the end of the night. Check the provider’s holiday hours if using transit, and confirm event-specific parking or pickup arrangements. Do not assume a normal timetable, ordinary park entrance or usual rideshare pickup point will apply.
Keep the rest of the day light
Leave room for a slower afternoon and an early meal near your main event. Use the neighborhood guides to compare settings and the official holiday guide to find current organizer announcements. Check weather closer to departure.
Before finalizing, verify the date, ticket terms, admission requirements, finish time and return journey. This guide covers the December 31, 2026 celebration of the arrival of 2027, not the previous New Year’s Eve.
